Empowering Lives. Restoring Families. Responsibilities The Family Therapist is the primary contact for families assigned on their caseload. This position facilitates individual, family, group therapy, and new Family Orientations. Flexible schedules, sign-on bonus eligible, trainings offered, no case managment, room for growth, and more! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate, proactively, and serve as point of contact with families. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of the Newport Healthcare's clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model. Facilitate new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups. Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress, group notes, contact notes and discharge summaries) timely and according to established standards. Enter and save data accurately within Word, Outlook (email and calendaring), EMR, and online learning. Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision. Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Newport Healthcare as needed. Manage schedule, independently, to effectively and efficiently accomplish goals and tasks. Qualifications Master's degree in social sciences. Eligible or nearing eligibility for current licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP). Will consider those with junior licenses (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) who can demonstrate readiness to sit for licensure exam within 3 months of hire. Newport Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
