Job Description
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with least 1 year of customer facing customer service and Microsoft Office experience , and experience assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts . This position will be part-time and onsite.
What You’ll Do
Effectively assessing customers' needs
Referring customers to community agencies as appropriate
Timely and accurately escalating customers' complaints/inquires as appropriate
Documenting customers' records timely and in accordance with departmental procedures
Assisting customers with completion of online or paper applications
Assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers as by departmental procedures
Effectively maintaining customer log
Explains eligibility requirements, form completion requirements, community resources for financial assistance, and/or provides program benefits
What You'll Need
Required:
Ability to speak and understand English
High School Diploma or Equivalent or at least 2 years of clerical experience
1-3 years of customer facing customer service experience
1 year of experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
