Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with least 1 year of customer facing customer service and Microsoft Office experience , and experience assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts . This position will be part-time and onsite.

What You’ll Do

  • Effectively assessing customers' needs

  • Referring customers to community agencies as appropriate

  • Timely and accurately escalating customers' complaints/inquires as appropriate

  • Documenting customers' records timely and in accordance with departmental procedures

  • Assisting customers with completion of online or paper applications

  • Assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers as by departmental procedures

  • Effectively maintaining customer log

  • Explains eligibility requirements, form completion requirements, community resources for financial assistance, and/or provides program benefits

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Ability to speak and understand English

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or at least 2 years of clerical experience

  • 1-3 years of customer facing customer service experience

  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Experience assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
