Summary:

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is looking to add a Full-Time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate who is ambitious, hardworking, customer -obsessed and would appreciate long-term promotion opportunities as part of a growing team in our Springville, UT location. Our Delivery Drivers work from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This role is essential in warehousing and delivering material to the customers we serve in the greater Wasatch Front market place each day. While the job is physically demanding, the job is rewarded with top-end hourly pay and a Profit Sharing program that encourages every team member to care about the work they do each day.

A Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate will split their time between completing deliveries and working in the warehouse. Each day will be different, depending on shipments and customer orders. Ideal candidates are able to work well with a team and on their own.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Drivers License and acceptable Driving Record (CDL is NOT required)

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds occasionally – usually with assistance or with tools and equipment

• Ability to lift 25 - 30 pounds unassisted frequently

• Ability to be on your feet walking 10,000+ steps per day

• High attention to detail

• Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

• Understand typical American Standard units of weights & measurements

Relevant Experience.

Working Conditions:

• Daily - Warehouse environment

• Occasional – Work outdoors in existing weather conditions

• Heavy physical activity

• Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain, snow and other seasonal conditions

Essential Job Functions:

• Represent CED in a professional and appropriate manner

• Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards

• Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery

• Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor

• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle

• Sort and identify varied products by types and part numbers

• Operating various type of forklifts (on-the-job training available)

• Locate and re-stock product in assigned locations

• Process documentation in a manner consistent with CED policy

• Assemble orders accurately, safely, and in a timely fashion

• Cutting wire by safely operating associated equipment and tools

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $17 to $20 hourly.
