ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analysts to join our team in the DMV area! 

*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  *  

• Conducts comprehensive research and analyzes data to support decision making and strategic planning.

• Works closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.

• Analytical skills and attention to detail contribute to the success of the organization's research initiatives.

• Conducting in-depth research on various topics, including market trends, industry analysis, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies;

• Gathering data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research

• Analyzing and interpreting data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques

• Identifying key trends, patterns, and insights from research findings

• Developing reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate research findings to stakeholders

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning anddecision-making processes

• Staying updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging research methodologies

• Assisting in the implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection

• Supporting the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.

Basic Qualifications:   

• 4 years of experience, 2 with years of analytical work

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline; OR 4 years ofexperience; OR Associates Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelors degree.  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.

• Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

   

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Masters degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.

• Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis.

• Knowledge of data collection and survey design.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).

   

Clearance Requirements: * *  

• US Citizenship and eligible to obtain a US Government clearance

   

Physical Requirements:  

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time  

• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel  

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer  

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations  

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
