HOW A LOGISTICS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities

● This unit consists of multiple branches responsible for international shipping, domestic trucking, dock operations, customer service, property disposal and reutilization, storage management, production inventory team, packing and crating, pouch services, mail and courier services, customer service and administration

● On a daily basis, warehouse personnel interact with Sponsor component personnel worldwide via secure email and instant messaging

● Analyst may require travel to and from work facilities within the local area. Sponsor transportation to the local facility is provided when the work day starts at the warehouse. Personnel must be willing to commute to other Sponsor facilities within the WMA when required to work a full day at that location. The work may include occasional opportunities to temporary duty to locations within CONUS

● Analyst will routinely interact with Sponsor customers, warehouse teammates, vendors and delivery personnel and therefore must possess exceptional customer service and organizational skills

● He/she should be able to operate independently, as well as on a team, have the ability to identify alternative solutions, make decisions and solve complex problems, and/or know when they need to ask others for assistance

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: High School Diploma/GED

● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability and willingness to research multiple databases/applications and documentation to resolve issues and/or ascertain status of inquiries is critical, as is ensuring timely updates are provided to the the Customer

● Preferred Skills: Basic skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

● Location: Springfield, Virginia

The likely salary range for this position is $74,800 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
