Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain/logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
Possess EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification.
Performs facilities and datacenter Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) / Refrigeration Systems (Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, and Expansion devices) troubleshooting, adjustments, modifications, inspections, repair, and Preventive Maintenance (PM).
Provide support with installation of major HVAC / Refrigeration system and its components (including, but not limited to, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, air conditioning equipment, VAV boxes, fan coil units, CRAH units, in-row coolers, pumps, boilers, exhaust fans, distribution system, DDC control devices, and HVAC associated electrical systems).
Routinely inspects HVAC / Refrigeration systems and their components as defined above and track all repairs and PM to ensure availability of HVAC/R systems. Clean, lubricate, and repack the working parts of the systems.
Responds to during / afterhours service calls and PM inspections and produces reports in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning / inoperable equipment. Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems and makes repairs quickly, requiring good judgement to locate malfunctions.
Provide critical advanced technical knowledge in support of unique security requirements inherent to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) operations including sound baffling techniques / equipment and the resolution of compromising electrical currents, as sustainment of high system availability rates.
Performs periodic, worldwide deployments in strategic and tactical mobile facility environments.
Provides expert technical assistance for a 24-hour operational environment with limited documentation resources. Responds to off-duty (evening and weekend) calls to support critical system outages and to provide rapid fault isolation and resolution concerning environmental factors affecting ISR system performance to include developing technical documentation for ISR support system layouts.
Supports U.S. Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to U.S. forces worldwide, military contingency missions, and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
HVAC technicians shall perform a daily surveillance walk-through at the beginning and before the end of their shift of all position description related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.
Technician shall be knowledgeable of all current safety policies, procedures and required personal protection equipment (PPE) related to their job description in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), facility, system equipment security, Environmental Compliance Assessment Protocol (ECAP) and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards.
To include, but not limited to, fall protection requirements, confined spaces, oil spills and HVAC liquid chemicals handling. Technician shall also wear their appropriate safety equipment at all times while performing their assigned task.
Technicians shall also be required to periodically attend safety training classes related to their job description.
Performs day-to-day operations of a variety of building operations systems as needed including Tridium Niagara Open Framework controls system and other common closed framework controls system such as JCI Metasys, etc.
Maintain logs of temperature, humidity, pressure differentials of operating rooms and other critical spaces
As required assist in oversight or escort for contractors on repair / renovation projects.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman HVAC or equivalent license at a State level, OR
Six (6) years of experience in an equivalent Military HVAC training / certification.
Possess EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
