Duties of a General Maintenance Worker

ATI is seeking highly motivated, qualified, and experienced General Maintenance Workers withTOP SECRETclearancesfor a new facilitylocated in Springfield, Virginia. Dutiesrequire practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. Work may involve thefollowing duties:

• Performing general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs;
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems to identify issues;
• Conducting routine maintenance on building systems;
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests;
• Keeping accurate maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); and
• Supervising and coordinating external contractors when necessary.

Required Qualifications for a General Maintenance Worker

• MinimumTOP SECRETClearance required - additional security clearance investigation upon hire may also be required;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance;
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs;
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with staff and vendors;
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively;
• High school diploma or equivalent; and
• Experience with CMMS is a plus but not required.
