Title: Change Manager

Clearance Required: SECRET

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides change management support to assigned projects.

  • Analyzes and processes complex engineering change requests (CRs) to determine the impact on the overall system.

  • Ensures change control by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.

  • Aids in the development of change management policies based on program requirements.

  • Identifies requirements and coordinates the development and implementation of computer-based data management systems and related support activities.

  • Provides guidance and training to managers, site leads, engineers, systems, and network administrators regarding change management procedures.

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of ITIL principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to configuration management and change management.

  • Serves as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Change Management for supporting external requests, data calls, and Contract Deliverables (CDRL) reporting to the Program Office.

  • Provides guidance and attends and participates in weekly Technical Review Board and Change Advisory Board (TRB/CAB) meetings.

  • Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Change Management experience required.

  • 5+ years of industry experience.

  • Must possess a SECRET Security Clearance.

  • BA/BS required; Additional years’ experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL V4 Foundation or possess equivalent higher certifications.

  • Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.

  • Ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Utilizing Tableau, JIRA, ServiceNow, SCSM or other tools used to manage and control daily work and process improvement initiatives.

  • Serving as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Change Management,

  • Processing service request and change request tickets using SCSM/ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool.

  • Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.

  • The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
