POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will facilitate various projects and tasks that support Base Camp initiatives as well as site specific projects. This position will be a liaison between Base Camp and field teams and will regularly report project progress to their supervisor and other senior management as required. Contributes to improving and developing systems, processes, and procedures. Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service for all Outfitters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with facilitation of Base Camp initiatives and site-specific projects to achieve target project goals.

• Contribute to and reviews project proposals to determine appropriate timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.

• Define and design activities, starting from the beginning or leveraging existing solutions.

• Communicate with and coordinates projects with the project sponsor at a tactical level.

• Manage the overall project progress through the various phases of project.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or equivalent experience

• Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Retail Management required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.

• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret a variety of other financial, legal, and technical information.

• Ability to read and analyze reports. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from company leadership, Managers, and associates.

• Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to large and small groups.

• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems. Capability to learn and apply new systems that directly relate to the role or projects being led.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, customers and with the Corporate Staff.

• 10% or less

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly performs computer work and sits.

• Occasionally walks and stands.

• Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

• Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
