PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Assistant Structural Heart Program - Cardiovascular Administration for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. This role is responsible for maintaining and coordinating regulatory data collection and entry to ensure regulatory compliance as applicable. You will also assist with patient recruitment and program development and administrative support.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $18.76 – $28.14. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

DETAILS OF THE POSTION:

  • Coordinates and responsible for the maintenance of regulatory data collection and entry to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations.

  • Serves as a liaison between CMS, STS/ACC registries, vendors and PH Quality Improvement and the structural heart team.

  • Assists Program Manager, Valve Center and TAVR Coordinators with patient recruitment and scheduling.

  • Assists Medical Director, Program Manager, Valve Center, TAVR Coordinators with the development of additional procedures and protocols within the structural heart program.

  • Functions as an important member of the structural heart team by providing administrative support for the program.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Education

  • College Coursework Preferred: Healthcare related field or science

Experience

  • Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing administrative support or experience in an office position that included performing standard clerical duties

  • Preferred

  • Experience working in a medical office or outpatient clinic environment with experience scheduling complex procedures/visits across multiple departments

  • Prior experience working with regulatory compliance in a clinical or quality improvement setting

  • Background in data collection and data entry

  • Customer service-related work experience in a medical related position

Skills

  • Required:

  • Proficient computer skills required including all Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of databases.

  • Demonstrate ability to handle concurrent tasks and consistently meet deadlines, analytical ability, organizational skill, and an ability to work in a group as well as independently.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Working Conditions

Lifting

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Environmental Conditions

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

  • Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
