Timber Products Company Marketing Manager in Springfield, Oregon


Supports long-term growth in sales and profits by assisting in developing and implementing forward-looking marketing and branding strategies. Works closely with the Marketing Director to support the TP sales team. Enhances the Company’s name awareness with existing and potential customers to support and ensure long-term growth.


  • Works with the Marketing Director to develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for Timber Products and TP Logistics.

  • Manages the Timber Products and TP Logistics digital presence including the website, video content, and social media platforms.

  • Manages the Timber Products and TP Logistics external advertising campaign.

  • Manages the Timber Products branded apparel and branded product program.

  • Works with the sales team to ensure an understanding of the Timber Products brand strategy.

  • Works with the Marketing Director to develop and manage an annual budget for the marketing program.

  • Works with the sales team to develop a library of product and end use photographs, videos, etc.

  • Manages and coordinate TP trade show participation.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

  • Other tasks as assigned.


  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing or related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.

  • Record of accomplishment in creativity and in marketing related activities.

  • Proven ability to manage all types of marketing communications: web based PR, social media, video, and all forms of advertising.

  • Experience with developing creative sales support initiatives.

  • Previous experience in wood products is preferred.

  • A proven team player.

  • Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use all Microsoft Office Products and preferably design software.
