Job Title: System Engineer Manager

Job Description

Oversee the SCADA System design consisting of various components (hardware & software). Read and understand technical specifications, and apply them to system design, quotations, and proposals. Oversee the design and development of new hardware and software (embedded & workstation) products. Participate in the integration, loading, configuration, and testing of SCADA, networking, and communication hardware and software. Periodically travel to the field to startup and troubleshoot systems/equipment. Manage application documentation (User Manuals) ensuring they are current with the most recent software releases. Directly manage one system engineer.

Hard Skills

  • Automation experience: industrial automation or electrical design

  • SCADA or PLC programming experience

  • Designing and taking projects from beginning to end

  • Ladder Logic or HMI software

  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems

Soft Skills

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to manage and mentor team members

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Springfield, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM in office, with travel less than 5% to a client on occasion
