Actalent Machine Vision Engineer in Springfield, New Jersey

Systems Software EngineerJob Description

We are looking for exceptional programmers and engineers interested in solving diverse, real-world problems with cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy leading-edge computer vision solutions in a wide range of applications and industries. Technologies include Deep Learning, 3D imaging, object detection, and many other unique algorithms.

  • Interface and program other industrial control systems, including robotics, PLCs, and custom automation machinery.

  • Install, commission, and test systems at customers’ locations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Excellent programming skills, including experience with C#/C++.

  • Knowledge and experience with machine vision systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A driven individual with the ability to independently learn and troubleshoot problems.

  • Willingness to travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Cognex and/or Keyence machine vision systems.

  • Experience in a C&IP manufacturing environment.

  • Experience integrating software into hardware, programming, and PLC programming.

  • Experience with robotics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
