The Corporate Project Management Office, comprised of over 70 dedicated professionals, fosters a collaborative and supportive culture. We are focused on driving business success and adding value in everything we do. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that directly impact our strategic goals, collaborating with experienced team members to gain hands-on experience in project management processes and methodologies. You'll play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization, all while contributing to our mission of delivering value to our stakeholders.
Program Details
Duration: June 2 – August 8, 2025
Location: Springfield, MO or Monett, MO
Pay: $25.00/hour
What you’ll be responsible for:
Gain a solid understanding of basic project management concepts, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and terminology.
Support the planning process by helping create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
Help in preparing and maintaining project documentation including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Actively engage in project team meetings to understand team dynamics and project progress.
Learn to monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and issues.
What you’ll need to have:
Enrolled at an accredited university.
Pursuing a Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, CIS, Marketing degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.
Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
Ability to self-direct, lead projects, interact and build relationships across the organization at different levels of seniority.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to listen, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments when planning work.
General understanding of business operations, IT operations, and/or financial operations.
