QPS Employment Group Photo Production in Springfield, Missouri

Wage: $14/hour, a holiday bonus with a slight pay increase closer to end of year

Hours: 7am-4pm 8-hour shifts to start; will change to 7 days a week at least 12-hour shifts with mandatory overtime

Are you interested in a job that you can move around in and learn different skills? In this Photo Production role, you will take the photographs from professional photographers and put them on high-quality prints, posters, canvas, gift items, shirts, blankets, or other wood and metal products with the highest quality in mind. In production, you would be a part of the creation of extremely popular products; such as photographs, greeting cards, calendars, photo books and albums, and specialty items. This is a temporary opportunity.

Photo Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow all safety codes - Load paper and other items for printing in machines - Keep an eye out for quality in the print work - Unload items from machines, check for quality, and keep a count of items to pack per box or shipping container - Properly record amounts of materials or items being used - May also record quantity of items into their computer system - Use a laminator machine to laminate product and use a box cutter to cut off excess plastic

Photo Production Requirements: - Prior experience working in a production environment is a plus - Lift and carry 30lbs and awkward sizes (occasional lifting) - Bend, stand, and walk around for up to 8 hours per day - Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions - A reliable team player with a positive and professional attitude - Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy - Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions
