GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Digital Banking Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the processes and daily operations of the Digital Banking department. Manages and directs assigned staff on a daily basis to ensure all internal and external customers are provided with superior customer service. Ensures that products and services meet the goals of the organization, and that all daily processes are completed timely and efficiently by assigned staff. Keeps the Managing Director of Digital/Treasury/Payment Operations informed regarding their area of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Coordinates and manages the daily operations of the Digital Banking department. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.

  • Works closely with subordinate staff evaluating their performance, developing their abilities, and improving their output. Is responsible for selection, placement, counseling, and salary administration of all staff in their area of responsibility. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Works with subordinate staff to review current policies, procedures, objectives, and goals ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and statues. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Continually monitors department workflow ensuring all deadlines are met and work is completed in an accurate and efficient manner. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Responsible for understanding all bank policies and procedures related to the assigned area of responsibility. May be required to obtain additional certifications. Completes required audits and risk assessments as applicable for the department and prepares required reporting for review by the Managing Director of Digital/Treasury/Payment Operations. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Maintains knowledge of the hardware, software, and systems used by the assigned area. Handles administrative functions for related systems, and logs cases to resolve errors. Makes suggestions for system changes or enhancements. Ensures that systems used within the department continue to meet the needs of the organization. Makes recommendations for department efficiencies. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).

  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 5 years of specialized schooling/related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 years of related management experience

  • Knowledge of basic accounting

  • Basic knowledge of Check 21 and FFIEC guidance for RDC services

  • Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.

  • Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word processing

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

    Preferred Certificates

    National Check Professional (NCP) certification is preferred.
