ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC COOP Cybersecurity Intern in Springfield, Missouri

Want a chance to work on the front lines with highly talented and elite teams of cybersecurity professionals who have a mission of keeping the lights on? Well, you are in luck because Cybersecurity Internships are available at our Headquarters facility located in Springfield, Missouri. These paid internships are available during the 2024-2025 school year with the opportunity to work full-time hours during the summer. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI! Contact your schools career center for more information.

Who Were Looking for:

  • Passionate students currently enrolled in a computer-related degree program.
  • A genuine interest in cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Possess the ability to think critically and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environments and new challenges.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Red Team / Blue Team testing (Ethical Hacking)
  • Assisting in response to cybersecurity threats in real-time
  • Leverage sophisticated tools to reduce the risk of exploitation and compromise across a large network
  • Utilize tools to automate and detect indicators of compromise
  • Assist with training our employees to become defenders of our technologies
