Interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals? Way Finders is currently seeking a full-time Paralegal. The Paralegal supports our mission by reviewing and analyzing legal documents, preparing documents and correspondence, performing intake interviews, responding to inquiries, and taking ownership of myriad administrative functions. The candidate will work in a hybrid-remote manner. Living within commutable distance is required. Responsibilities include: Draft, prepare and/or edit legal documents and correspondences Review, analyze, and/or organize complex factual material and other substantive legal documents and files Provide concise explanations of legal research findings from all assigned research tools using \"Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion\" structure of legal analysis Monitor legal inquiries, reviewing inquiries and supporting materials, and respond to clients, tracking project deadlines and/or escalating to issues to the Chief Legal Officer and/or staff attorneys as needed Perform client intakes and interviews Prepare written office procedures for tasks given Performs basic administrative, clerical and office support, to include: scheduling meetings; copying, scanning, assembling, retrieving, indexing, and purging files; maintaining spreadsheets and databases; and preparing and distributing mailings Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases of records and other information Maintain and organize legal team file system Requirements include: 5 years\' equivalent experience as a paralegal or in a related role; a combination of experience plus a Bachelor\'s degree may be a substitute Preference for paralegal certification Advanced technical skills in databases and the Microsoft Suite (including Excel), with comfort learning new technologies; preference for experience working in Filevine or a similar database Excellent writing ability, research skills, and analytical thinking, with confidence to apply research results to fact patterns to propose conclusions or solutions Highly organized, with a track record of meeting short- and long-term responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred, but not required CORI Benefits include: Generous paid time-off \| 12+ holidays annually \| Health, dental, and vision insurance options \| Educational assistance \| Medical Reimbursement Account \| Dependent Care Account \| 403(b) retirement plan with employer match \| Life insurance \| Short-term and long-term disability insurance \| Transportation benefits \| Employee Assistance Program \| Annual staff picnic!
