  • You will have the unique opportunity to:
    • Be on the ground floor of Baker Tilly\'s advancement of its environmental impact assessment, reporting capabilities, and strategy to advance our ability to set reduction targets.
    • A key project will be to improve our current processes to measure Scope 1 and 2 emissions, which just started du ing the 2024 calendar year. It is expected that they work directly with the Chief of Staff to gather data for 2025 reporting for input in the reporting tool and lead preparing a draft of our first TCFD report which must be filed in January 2026 to be in compliance with the California Climate Disclosure bills along with other similar stakeholder data requests.
    • Additionally, they will work directly with our Director of Procurement on developing policy and a process for tracking our Scope 3 emissions. This role will allow them to learn more about the professional services industry and hone relationship-building and problem-solving skills through collaboration with subject-matter experts in various departments, such as procurement, operations and data analytics.
    • In addition, they will play a key role and gain valuable experience in a number of foundational programs, including developing and implementing a supplier engagement approach, enhancing data collection efforts, analyzing carbon data through the use of the Workiva reporting tool, developing incentive and monitoring options, creating actionable guidance and resources, and building a roadmap for ongoing communications.
