Job Description:
Responsibilities
You will enjoy this role if you are passionate about:
Content creation - Includes writing for the intranet, emails, and other internal communications projects, plus minimal website work.
Intranet management - Site strategy, content creation, support and site management for our internal website. Supporting team members across our firm with their intranet content. Gathering site analytics to make informed communication decisions.
Special projects communications support - Communications guidance, planning and execution for firmwide projects including operations and technology, team member engagement, events, programs/campaigns, M&A, etc.
Social media - Support content creation related to our corporate reputation and team member advocacy.
Intern Focus Areas:
Special projects
Development of highlight stories for key projects
Video development - help gather clips and conceptualize short videos highlighting our leadership
Assist with organization and execution of firm-wide Stewardship Week planning and activities
Intranet
Assist with support, intranet page updates and posting content
Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to intranet activity
Social Media
Assist with internal oversight of social media efforts (Sprout platform).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist writing original content including team member human interest stories and firmwide announcements
reate and post content on firm\'s intranet
Assist in maintaining editorial and content calendars
Development and execution of communication plans for special projects
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Actively pursuing bachelor\'s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
Strong writing and editing skills utilizing various writing styles (e.g., corporate, narrative, storytelling, etc.)
Strong verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Ability to be a self-starter and work successfully in a team-oriented environment that is geographically distributed
Must be creative, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking many projects often on tight deadlines
Perform other duties and assist other employees, as assigned
