This position serves as a Contract Executive for Legal Services organizing, planning, executing, and controlling the management and distribution of workflow of contracts between the Information Technology Procurement Office (ITPO) and Legal. In this role, you will maintain requests by logging DoIT contracts, updating the tracking system, and responding to inquiries for the status of a contract. In addition, you will prepare and administer assigned contract needs by performing duties of a confidential and sensitive nature for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), state agencies under the Governor, and when requested constitutional officers, the legislative and judicial branches, and local governments. Essential Functions
  • Under direction, serves as a Contract Executive for Legal Services organizing, planning, executing, and controlling the management and distribution of workflow of contracts between the Information Technology Procurement Office (ITPO) and Legal Section of the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT).
  • Prepares and administers assigned contract needs of a confidential and sensitive nature for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), state agencies under the Governor, and when requested, constitutional officers, the legislative and judicial branches, and local governments.
  • Confers with agency and DoIT Legal in investigating contractual requirements, vendor complaints, and protests by conducting research.
  • Interacts with vendors and DoIT personnel, answering procedural questions, amending, or changing orders and contracts to suit needs and requirements, resolving problems, and providing answers to questions of policy.
  • Prepares contracts, frequently of a confidential and sensitive nature, between the State and various vendors for the acquisition of IT goods and services using approved terms and conditions to protect the State\'s interest and comply with the State\'s statutory and/or legal requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
  • Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
