HP Inc. Workforce Planning Program Analyst in Spring, Texas

This role is responsible for leading processes and projects that develop and drive labor strategies to support HP's global workforce needs, contributing to effective workforce evolution and agility. This role involves 50% data analysis and model development, and 50% project/program management.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic workforce planning projects and processes, working with leadership across the organizations (business, HR, finance, etc.)

  • Works on complex problems leveraging statistical/financial models to evaluate workforce metrics and/or complete in-depth evaluations of multiple factors, resulting in recommendations and strategic insights.

  • Evaluates workforce plans, trends, identifies gaps, and proposes solutions to HR and business management.

  • Assists with the implementation and management of reporting efforts, including creating dashboards, manager reporting suites, and ad hoc analysis.

  • Supports and engages in the hands-on development of new technology enhancements which improves workforce productivity.

  • Creates and establishes continuous improvements in headcount forecasting, translating those results into higher workforce productivity.

  • Collaborates across the company to ensure workforce related data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in human resources, business administration, project management, or a related field.

  • Typically 4+ years of proven experience in workforce planning & management, people analytics, project management, and/or a related field.

  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint (executive presentations), Excel (pivots, advanced formulas), Power BI development, SQL and/or Python (programming language).

  • Strong knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The base pay range for this role is $73,600 to $111,150 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.​
