*Summary:\ *Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of Workforce & Family Services (WFS) personnel engaged in providing support & leadership to Goodwill\'s Community Support programs. Qualified applicants will need to be well-versed in dynamic leadership approaches, grant & contract management, public administration, community collaboration, & policy & process improvements. Manage & provide supervision for assigned staff to accomplish program goals, objectives, compliance, & outcomes. Must pass driver record, background, & fingerprint check.

Education &/or Experience:\ Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide input to Director on preparing an annual budget for the delivery of services provided.
  • Seek new sources of revenue that fulfill Goodwill\'s mission & align with strategic plan.
  • Ensure all data is submitted accurately & timely as required in the Continuous Quality Improvement Outcome Management System (CQI-OMS).
  • Participate in data analysis of CQI-OMS to recommend & implement positive program changes & improvements.
  • Facilitate & participate in WFS department meetings.
  • Provide consultation, leadership, & oversight to assigned Division to meet program compliance, goals, & objectives.
  • Facilitate a person centered planning approach, which encourages independence & participant voice.
  • Keep Director advised at all times regarding WFS division activities in which Goodwill is involved.
  • Understand & enforce personnel policies & procedures, to include workplace rules & discipline as they apply to assigned employees & program participants.
  • Consult with Human Resources to implement Employee Assistance activities focused on helping employees resolve problems that interfere with their work & home life.
  • Coordinate & complete personnel functions according to company policies & procedures to include training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, & record keeping.
  • Conduct a Program Quality Review annually for all programs assigned. Coordinate with WFS Director & administration.
  • Thoroughly review, understand, implement, & monitor contracts &/or service guidelines for all assigned programs to meet expectations & requirements.
  • Provider oversight & leadership to ensure all documentation & related activities are current, accurate, & in compliance for all assigned programs & services. Includes case notes, reports, & documents required for billing.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, & oversight to ensure all electronic records are complete & accurate, such as the case management database.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted net margin for all assigned areas.
  • Provide & oversee services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, & principles of safety.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted net margin for all assigned areas.
  • Recommend expense/staffing additions or reductions based on billable revenue projections achieved.
  • Be proficient in performing & overseeing essential functions for all program staff assigned.
  • Lead assigned area to work collaboratively with all WFS & all Goodwill departments.
  • Recommend WFS staffing requirements, interview, hire, & train new employees.
  • R eview internal records & provide counseling, recognize staff accomplishments & suggest changes to procedures/policies to Director.
  • Ensure staff meets mandatory training requirements within timeframes required.
  • Conduct marketing & effective communications as a liaison & advocate with referral agencies, community leaders, government agencies, employers & the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.
