Compensation for the Welder 2

 

  • $20 - $29 Per Hour DOE
  • Day Shift: Monday -- Friday, 5 am -- 3:30 pm (Built-in overtime!)
  • Swing Shift: Monday -- Friday, 3:30 pm -- 2 am (Built-in overtime!)

Responsibilities for the Welder 2

 

  • Perform 1G and 2G welds skilled oxyacetylene, arc, and other types of welding and burning to cut and join metals with precision.
  • Follow AWS (American Welding Society) standards and QC guidelines to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to Welder 1 personnel and, at times, assist in training.
  • Collaborate with Welder 3 on complex problems and seek clarification as necessary.
  • Consistently adhere to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Use and maintain specialized welding equipment and PPE, including a personal respirator.

     

Requirements for the Welder 2

 

  • 5+ years of recent production welding experience with structural steel.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • AWS certification is highly preferred.
  • Must have a proven record of solid work history, reliable attendance, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong focus on safety and maintaining high work standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to train and support less-experienced welders.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently and wear company provided PPE
