Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor Security in Spokane, Washington

Description Responsible for Supervision and operations of Security Services (for SLRI/INHS). Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. To prevent the spread of disease and infection, demonstrates knowledge and adheres to St. Luke's infection control guidelines for hand hygiene, standard precautions, and bloodborne pathogens as evidenced by appropriate use of personal protective equipment and hand hygiene. Attends all in-service education programs required by St. Luke's, INHS, State, and Federal regulations. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times. Required Qualifications: National Healthcare Security & Safety Officer Basic Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety upon hire. Or National Healthcare Security & Safety Officer Advanced Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety upon hire. 5 years of Healthcare Security experience at supervisory or higher level. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: College degree. Member of IAHSS upon hire. Certified MOAB instructor upon hire. Certified by IAHSS for healthcare Basic, Advanced and Supervisory Security upon hire. Why Join Providence?
