Description Senior Surgical Technologist - OR Surgical Services, Providence Holy Family Hospital, Spokane, WA The Senior Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department manager. In addition, the Senior Surgical Technologist is expected to serve as a leader in the department by participating in the precepting of new caregivers, assessing and coordinating special needs for specific surgeons, specialties, and procedures, and perform designated unit and advanced clerical functions as needed. Shift Details: Fulltime, 40 hours per week, 8 - hour Day Shift Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program Or Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp. Or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist Preferred Qualifications: Within 1 year of hire AST or other recognized certification Why Join Providence?
