Job DescriptionAs a member of the Customer Project Coordinator Family, your role is to fill in temporary vacant spots companywide for a CPC on leave or to provide additional CPC support to accommodate the office workload. As with all other CPCs, this role promptly responds to customer inquiries, feedback, and resolves customer issues with the goal of satisfying the customer and enhancing the opinion of the company, while still maintaining the company’s interest. This role provides assistance in promoting the safe and reliable use of energy, through planning and installation of either natural gas or electric service. This is completed through the complex electrical design and coordination of line and main extensions or rebuild of existing facilities to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.
RequirementsParticipation in OPEN Training is required. Emphasis will be given to OPEN Learner participants.
High School diploma, GED, or Journeyman card
Requires valid driver's license and must be able to travel to job sites throughout Avista service territory.
6+ months of work experience directly related to GIS, planning, and/or designing construction of electric or natural gas facilities with an emphasis in customer service.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated skills in cooperating in a team environment, negotiation, problem solving, construction management, and excellent communication skills is a must.
Qualified applicants will have basic computer skills and ability to learn computer application for construction design.
Strong working knowledge of key operation, business process, and core applications.
Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts.
Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
This role reports to Avista Corporate Headquarters in Spokane, WA 5 days per week.
