This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the South Spokane Area (including: Primary Care Clinics both Adult and Pediatric). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. This position represents both full-time and part-time openings. You will have the ability to discuss during an interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient's medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant. Associate Medical Assistant Required qualifications: Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program 6 months of Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months of Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate Medical Assistant, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Registered WA: Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of healthcare experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience. Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk Medical Assistant Registered, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.
