Full-Time Entry Level Machine Operator I FLSA Classification: Non-exempt Wage Range: $16.50 - $17.50/hour Supervisory Responsibilities: None Travel: 0% Job Description Summary/objective Use machines such as roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices to shape, shear and manipulate metal into desired output. Following work instructions, operate assigned machines to process material until desired outcome achieved Inspect material within specified tolerances Use hand tools and calipers to measure product Track and log job operations Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking Competencies Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Work environment Well-lit and clean with moderate noise level. Position may have direct contact with various metal materials as well as occasional chemical (Acetone) exposure during part cleaning. Physical demands Sit or stand for long periods of time.
