Compensation for the Mechanical Designer

• $54,080 - $72,800 Annually DOE

• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid non-working holidays, up to 8% retirement contribution, annual bonus program, profit sharing

   

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Designer

• Develop mechanical design documents for equipment production
• Update and revise mechanical drawings as per engineering feedback
• Prepare and release documents to Manufacturing
• Collaborate with engineers, purchasing, and shop floor personnel
• Ensure timely completion of design tasks, maintaining project schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Train other team members as needed

• Other duties as assigned

   

Requirements of the Mechanical Designer

• AA/AS in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks preferred
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated
• Ability to work on standard complexity projects

• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
