We are currently recruiting for an experienced Burn Table Machine Operator for at a manufacturing company in Spokane Valley WA. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential to be hired for the right candidate.

Compensation for the Burn Table Machine Operator

• $19 - $29 Per Hour DOE
• Weekend Shift: Friday -- Sunday, 5 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities of the Burn Table Machine Operator

• Assist with the set up and operation of CNC and/or manual production machines in accordance with documented procedures
• Operate machines using best and safe practices
• Must produce parts within required tolerances
• Follow documented processes
• Maintain a high degree of quality
• Function as a team member and support other teams
• Maintain accurate paperwork
• Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery
• Willingness to cross-train on other machines as required
• In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required
• Identify product/process improvements, and participate with co-workers to implement these improvements
• Abide by company policies

• Other duties as assigned

   

Requirements of the Burn Table Machine Operator

• 1+ Years of burn table experience required, experience using a Messer Burn Table preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Familiarity with mechanical drawings for applications of tolerances and fit
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and, at a minimum, the use of power hand tools such as drills and saws
• Experience/training in the use of measuring instruments including tape measures, calipers, or micrometers
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week as needed
• Capabilities: read, write, speak; interpret data; plan and organize; problem solve; attention to detail; multi-task

• Physical requirements: ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand and walk 100% of shift; push/pull, slide transfer up to 100 lbs.; climb, balance, turn, twist, lean, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, manual dexterity, crouch, crawl, bend; see and hear.
