We are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Spokane Valley, WA, to find an experienced Bookkeeper. This contract or contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for someone with strong full-cycle accounting experience and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. Industry experience in manufacturing is a plus, but not required.

About the Role: This opportunity offers a chance to join a busy and growing manufacturer where you’ll manage a variety of bookkeeping and accounting duties. Your work will contribute directly to the smooth operation of the organization’s finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring transactions are appropriately classified and recorded.

• Process invoices, employee expense reports, and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance.

• Support the preparation of financial statements and other management reports as needed.

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure deadlines are met and accurate financial reporting.

• Provide support for audits, budget preparation, and special projects as assigned.

  Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience; prior experience in manufacturing is helpful but not necessary.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, bookkeeping best practices, and experience working with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail and accuracy to ensure financial records are error-free.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication to work effectively with vendors, clients, and team members.

• Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
