About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer to perform the duties described below at our plant in Spartanburg SC USA.

Your Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve causes of HMI/PLC malfunctions and support maintenance in the event of electrical and mechanical faults on all equipment.

• Assist the maintenance department in installing new electronic/electrical control equipment and making it operational.

• Provide training for the maintenance department on the operation and diagnostics of the machine controls and motor controllers.

• Develop programming and provide support for Programmable Logic Controllers and Panel Visualization to maximize both quality and production.

• Improve human machine interfaces.

• Implement quality improvements.

Who we are looking for

• PLC and HMI design from the scratch.

• Programming Siemens TIA Portal specially S71500 PLC.

• Design and programming HMI visualization in TIA Portal.

• Implement and change Profinet devices and other network devices.

• Programming skills in SCL,STLas well LAD and FBD

• Programming of TCP/IP communication between PLC and PC or third-party devices.

• Basic skill in SQL coding.

Your preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience or a High School diploma with at least 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer or a combination of education and experience
