The Sr. HRIS Analyst – Reporting is responsible for delivering quality HR system solutions to customers by understanding end user needs, gathering and developing business requirements, supporting technical design, product development, testing and deployment. The Sr HRIS Analyst – Reporting will lead consultations with HR areas to determine technology requirements that support business goals and translate those requirements into actionable project plans and HR system solutions.

What You'll Get To Do:

The Sr. HRIS Analyst – Reporting is responsible for delivering quality HR system solutions to customers by understanding end user needs, gathering and developing business requirements, supporting technical design, product development, testing and deployment. The Sr HRIS Analyst – Reporting will lead consultations with HR areas to determine technology requirements that support business goals and translate those requirements into actionable project plans and HR system solutions.

  • Provide Workday technical reporting for the entire company’s needs; Support functional team by providing reporting subject matter expertise, including data source and object knowledge and complex calculated field creation.

  • Support the overall report strategy to include report inventory, process for standardization.

  • Build out report standards and provide advice on selection of technologies, where appropriate, action as a champion of these standards.

  • Identify reporting strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to realize full potential of Workday

  • Drive towards decisions and recommending best practices related to report writing for internal clients and external vendors across all functional areas of Workday

  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and excellent communications skills

  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday.

  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Manager, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate

  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen

  • Setting up and using project management processes and systems across work streams including planning of life cycle of the project, identifying key project activities and milestones, etc.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients. Work with client to identify and resolve all issues that could impact project scope and or timeframe.

  • Write and update system documentation and provide communications as modifications and system upgrades are performed

  • Write and update project documentation as enhancements and developments are performed

  • Run periodic system audits, review and distribute to users for corrections

  • Continuously interact with Workday Community to ensure awareness of current and future enhancements

  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday and or associated systems

  • Utilize the Panasonic Data Management and Security Protocols to protect, properly share, and store data

  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate

  • Partner with the Analytics and Reporting team to run data queries

  • Assist in following proper procedures to ensure compliance related to Panasonic Policy, Systems and Data Management Protocols

  • Follow change management process to ensure quality and consistency across all System and Data platforms

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of the cross functional dependencies and impacts to reports.

  • Strong knowledge of full Workday reporting tool stack, including advanced reports, dashboards, scorecards and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools, PRISM and Workforce Planning

  • Workday Reporting Certification or Workday Reporting Pro Preferred

  • Advanced Excel skillset

  • Well-developed interpersonal ability to gain trust and confidence from peers, HR leadership and business leadership

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Ability to conduct storytelling with data highly preferred

The salary range of $89K - $100K is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
