Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Project Manager for one of our top clients in Sparks, NV. This person will be joining their self-perform team consisting of 75 craft and field laborers, a Superintendent, Project Coordinator, and several foreman supporting their SEMI expansion which is the build of a semi-manufacturing facility. A typical day will consist of estimating, some take offs, review drawings (electrical drawings for IFC), and single line diagrams. They will also be responsible for some procurement duties including reaching out to vendors, gathering quotes, coordinating with the field for questions, and navigating with the engineering team to come up with solutions. Periodically they will be going out into the field to check on safety, track productivity, and quality control.

Job Responsibilities:

- Management of the planning, procurement, execution, and close-out of 480V and under electrical power distributions systems

- Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved

- Develop funding requests for new projects

- Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs

- Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates

- Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams

- Ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained during field execution

Compensation:

$55/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

- 5+ years experience within Project Management

o Experience working for an electrical subcontractor is preferred

o Strong estimating experience

- Must understand electrical discipline wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, single-line drawings, schematics, electrical equipment layout and be able to perform cable sizing calculations

- Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and Bluebeam Plusses:

- Prior experience working with P6 null
