Sierra Nevada Corporation Risk Management Analyst III (Hybrid Eligible) in Sparks, Nevada

In this role, you will have the ability to impact the financial goals of the organization on a global level; you will be a key member of a small team using their expertise with analytics, risk management, insurance placement and claims management.

As a member of a Corporate team, you will partner with others inside and outside of your immediate team to focus on continuous improvement, consistent and reliable support that helps others obtain their goals and objectives.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the global process of collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and updating global exposure data in support of the renewal of all insurance policies.

  • You will serve as the lead for the team on all insurance placements, account servicing and providing ongoing internal support.

  • Manage and maintain all insurance exposure data, documents, and electronic risk management files.

  • Assist with Monthly/Semi Annual & Policy close out of insurance premium allocation, management fees, and program charge backs.

  • Assist internal departments with insurance certificate requests, proof of insurance, claims processing, subcontract and contract review, presentations, information gathering to include completion of special projects

  • Collaborate with teams across treasury, finance, business areas and external third parties to assist in the development of more effective risk management strategies.

  • Assist with annual budgeting and preparation of insurance presentations.

  • Support the development of and compliance with global risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills required

  • Knowledge of Risk Management processes with respect to coverage placement, contract review, insurance compliance, claims management, insurance recovery, and other facets related to protection of company assets.

  • Strong facilitation skills that address complex risks and Business stakeholder concerns

  • The ability to independently and collaboratively address complex risks and Business stakeholder concerns

  • Customer service skills in a fast paced or high demand environment

  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization Attention to detail Flexibility in thought process

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks concurrently, delivering relevant information and meeting customer expectations

  • Punctual to work each day, ready to work, with proven reliability

  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment

  • Experience interacting with external and internal stakeholders, establishing credibility, trust and healthy relationships

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Risk Management processes with respect to insurance coverage placement Contract review, with knowledge on insurance related items and/or supply chain support

  • Claims Management experience

  • Professional Designation(s)
