Production Worker - Bottling Line 2nd Shift

Job Description

Accurately read, interpret, and execute job instructions. Load materials, operate, and monitor production line operations to ensure an even flow of the product. Responsible for general production and ensuring the bottling line is running smoothly. Remove, separate, document, and report defective materials/products. Label, package, and/or palletize finished products for storage or shipment as required. Document work completion via paperwork and computer entry. Monitor materials levels. Resupply the production line and initiate restock notifications in a timely manner to avoid work-stoppage. Follow SOPs. Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production line operations for a smooth workflow.

  • Remove, separate, document, and report defective materials/products.

  • Label, package, and palletize finished products for storage or shipment.

  • Document work completion via paperwork and computer entry.

  • Monitor materials levels and resupply production line as needed.

  • Initiate restock notifications timely to avoid work-stoppage.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general production and manufacturing.

  • Experience in machine operating.

  • Ability to accurately read and interpret job instructions.

  • Attention to detail in monitoring production line operations.

  • Documentation and computer entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in bottling line, picker packer, line worker, machine operator, and packing.

  • 2+ years of general production and manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

Our Client is known worldwide as a leader in the manufacturing of chemicals and test kits for monitoring water quality. We offer nearly 600 different test-kit configurations, including options for wet-chemistry and dry-chemistry methods, along with microprocessor-based instruments. Established in 1930 in Baltimore, the production environment consists of about 50 people. Current shift is Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, eventually flipping back to 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm or 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
