TEKsystems Educational Program Coordinator (Salaried, Non-Profit) in Southfield, Michigan

The Program Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and facilitate programs with a focus

on the recruitment of school for personal finance and work and career

readiness programming. You’ll manage relationships with existing school

stakeholders, work to establish new school partners, oversee program logistics,

and ensure smooth and impactful program delivery in the assigned counties. We

are looking for someone with strong project management skills, attention to

detail, and a commitment to the national non-profit organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with educators, school administrators, and community partners to recruit and retain their participation in financial literacy programs.

  • Setup, facilitation, and support for Detroit-based simulations.

  • Facilitate orientations and training for educators while implementing and delivering targeted in-classroom and online programs.

  • Coordinate the logistics of program delivery, including scheduling, and working with staff on material distribution, and volunteer coordination.

  • Collect and compile feedback, surveys, and testimonials from students and educators.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and policies

  • Use project management tools like work plans, spreadsheets, calendars, and MS Teams to track progress and ensure timely program delivery.

  • Accurately input data and program information into our tracking platforms.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, training, nonprofit management, or a related field.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience and comfort presenting to diverse audiences (groups of 25+).

  • Familiarity with youth development programs and experience working with teenagers is a plus.

  • Knowledge of basic financial concepts is a plus.

  • Experience with CRM systems, Google Sites, and Microsoft 365, including MS Teams.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
