Description

Robert Half is partnering with a global technology company seeking a Payroll Accountant to join the finance team while working closely with HR to contribute to the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple entities. This is a hybrid working arrangement typically Tuesday-Thursday onsite and Monday and Friday working remote. The position also has full benefits for employees with available dependent coverage. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with payroll processing for multiple entities’ payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy in deductions, taxes, and allocations by collaborating with finance and HR departments.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records with confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial audits.

• Ensure adherence to company and regulatory policies in payroll systems, policies, and procedures.

• Contribute to the enhancement of internal systems and procedures related to payroll processing.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of accounting experience, with significant knowledge in payroll accounting.

-Experience with global payroll is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with accounting software and online platforms, preferably proficient in NetSuite.

• Multi-state experience, including knowledge of local state laws and compliance.

• Proficiency in Google applications and MS Suite.
