The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office.

Due to continued growth, Boswell Engineering is seeking an additional Water/ Wastewater Sr. Design Engineer for our Environmental Engineering Department which is responsible for the design of water/ wastewater conveyance and treatment improvement systems, environmental studies and modeling. We need another dynamic, goal-oriented, and motivated Engineer who wants to expand their design and engineering skills in Water treatment inspection, design, treatment, engineering & construction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare day-to-day paperwork necessary to see projects through from beginning to end

• Complete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgets

• Create and recommend water and wastewater treatment and improvement designs

• Have a passion for continued learning to keep abreast of the changing State and Federal regulations

• Desire to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challenges

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written skills

• Ability to work independently

• Manage time efficiently

• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

  Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 4+ years of relevant work experience of water treatment/ improvement Design Experience using a variety of tools/ software(If you are strong in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil, we’ll train you on many more tools!)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Professional Engineering license(s) highly desired & supported (PE and/ or EIT/ FE Certification)

• Experience in the following:

• Design of water/sanitary sewer conveyance systems

• Wastewater treatment plant design

• Water treatment design

• Well redevelopment

• Hydraulic Modeling
