Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

In this role, assemblers can be expected to work off of a material list to gather the correct materials, blueprints/assembly drawings to correctly put together products, pick and pack supplies, and perform repair operations. This is a fast-paced setting where candidates will be responsible for gathering materials, assembling products, performing tests, and inspections. This responsibility is consistent across all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve products off of the conveyor belt and insert/adjust the lining within the product.

  • Assemble handles/pins and insert them on the product.

  • Insert foam into products, package the product, and prepare it for shipment.

  • Rotate between different sections to avoid repetitive tasks throughout the day.

  • Gather proper materials to set up an assembly off of a conveyor.

  • Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer.

  • Ensure that specifications are followed and perform tests on the product.

Essential Skills

  • Experience using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Capacity to work in a collaborative setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Trade school education.

  • Automotive experience.

  • Previous assembly experience.

  • Blueprint reading skills.
