Robert Half is partnered with a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Associate for a contract-to-hire opportunity in South Brunswick, NJ. As a Senior Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play an integral role within the finance team, focusing on accounts receivable processes specific to the pharmaceutical sector. A critical aspect of this position involves working with gross-to-net analysis, chargebacks, returns, deductions, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyze gross-to-net calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

  • Handle chargebacks and collaborate with internal teams and trading partners to ensure timely resolution.

  • Manage and reconcile returns and deduction claims, identifying discrepancies and implementing effective resolutions.

  • Prepare accurate and timely accounts receivable reports to support management decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in finance, sales, and operations to optimize AR workflows and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.

Additional Details:

This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, which could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. The organization offers a supportive team environment, and the role requires being onsite five days a week in South Brunswick, NJ.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounts receivable experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Expertise in gross-to-net analysis, chargebacks, returns, deductions, and financial reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas).

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience with specific AR tasks in the pharmaceutical sector, such as rebate calculations and compliance-related reporting.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
