POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for supporting the Division President (DP) and Relationship Sales Officer (RSO) sales activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assists the Relationship Sales Officers (RSO) and serves as a back-up.
  • Helps the RSO prepare deals by collating minimum underwriting requirements including applications, financial information, operational history, etc., and then forward the deal to the appropriate value stream members.
  • Facilitates the rapid and orderly flow of client requests through SFG value stream (Credit, Loan Operations and Accounting departments).
  • Prepares documentation requests (i.e., SourceLink) to send on to the Credit department.
  • Follows up on funding items, works closely with Loan Operations, the Customer and RSOs.
  • Reviews loan/lease approvals with RSOs and prepares deals for Loan Operations.
  • Reviews loan/lease documentation with customers, answers inquiries.
  • Follows up on Credit Exception back log and Loan Operations exceptions.
  • Assists with implementation, training, and follows up on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepares and makes recommendations to management, on a regular basis, to assist business clients.
  • Reviews and researches requests for management.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Periodically attends industry tradeshows with RSOs.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Five (5) or more years of relevant business experience preferred.

  • Prior documentation, credit, accounting and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InfoAnalysis or like structure/pricing software, CRM.
  • Able to occasionally work on weekends for special projects and also extended regular hour week hours to support west coast clients and referral sources.
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding client interaction, sales and service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good phone skill/techniques.
  • Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work under time deadline pressures.
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced and cross functional, team environment.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.
