Honeywell Production Worker - 1st Shift in South Bend, Indiana

As a Production Worker here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of our aerospace products. You will be accountable for performing various tasks on the production line, including assembly, inspection, and packaging. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, contributing to the success of our aerospace business.

Departments with varying duties may include Carbon Friction, Linings, Inspection, Shipping and Receiving, and Assembly.

This position is for 1st shift. 7:00am – 3:00pm. Monday - Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow production schedules and complete work within specific time frames to meet production targets.

  • Adhere to specific operating and work instructions, with the ability to adjust production equipment when necessary and in accordance with manufacturing procedures.

  • Record data and complete production reports.

  • Inspect products for visual defects in accordance with established standards, ensuring that all parts meet quality specifications.

  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems, contributing to continual process improvements and the effectiveness of the team.

  • Follow good safety and housekeeping practices in assigned work areas and throughout the plant.

  • Must be able to operate a powered industrial vehicle if required for job duties.

  • Perform other duties as directed by supervision to support the overall production process and meet business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Due to Federal regulations, candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident

  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately record data

  • Basic reading and writing skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality
