POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the effective monitoring of 1st Source Banks net cash position, along with Federal Reserve and Correspondent Banking Accounts. Process interest and charges on Swap activity, while supporting the overall function of Funds Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Develops and maintains frequent contacts with Correspondent banks, as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.
  • Manage the manual rate change process for deposit customers.
  • Assists the Accounting Department with reconciliation(s) of correspondent bank and TCH statements.
  • Develops and maintains throughout the department an awareness of cash position and potential funding needs.
  • Assist in the strategic management of 1st Source Banks liquidity and cash position using contingent borrowings.
  • Assists in overseeing the selection of correspondent banking relationships.
  • Oversee the annual Payment System Risk Self-Assessment process and Correspondent Bank annual Review.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates various activities required for successful financial services.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Three (3) to five (5) years of job-related experience preferred.

  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others as appropriate, as well as of company documents and records.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet specific deadlines.
  • Customer service oriented.

EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.
