We're hiring an Electronic Banking Specialist to join our Digital Operations and Support Team.

Responsibilities

Subject matter expertise development in at least three of the following areas:

• * Wire Processing
• * ACH Origination
• * ACH Returns
• * Jack Henry online banking platform (Treasury Management + Telephone Banking)
• * Online Banking Systems platform
• * Mobile Banking

Provide second level technical support for customer inquiries via phone calls or emails from internal bank personnel

 

Review system reports and outputs for individual and Univest risk mitigation. Identify situations that require escalation.

 

Onboard new customers on various platforms while maintaining attention to detail to ensure minimal customer disruption.

 

Handle administrative maintenance for customers as needed for all areas of online banking platforms

 

Validate system components are operational to ensure uninterrupted access for customers.

 

Evaluate and assess the relative risk of customer requests per laws, regulations and bank policy

 

Maintain the correct balance between risk management and department efficiency

 

Assist in compiling daily stats related to eServices processing.

 

Assist with department audits and work archiving

 

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.

 

Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) with 3+ years of experience in a financial institution

 

Knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures and State / Federal banking regulations with special emphasis on those impacting electronic banking compliance

 

Excellent customer service and telephone skills

 

Must be well organized and detail oriented

 

Ability to handle multiple priorities independently, work positively under pressure, analyze data to solve problems and identify trends

 

Sufficient computer skills overall, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

 

Ability to function as an integral member of a team.

 

Flexibility and enthusiasm to work in a variety of capacities within the department.

 

Demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and business areas.

 

Prior experience using Jack Henry, Synergy a plus
