Job Overview:

Performs clerical and receptionist functions

Qualifications:

Preferred:

• High school diploma

• One year of administrative experience working in a busy medical office or hospital setting preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift

• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Provides secretarial/administrative support directly to clinical faculty and senior staff exercising confidentiality

• Using business software applications e,g, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet, to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc

• may prepare responses to routine correspondence and inquiries

• Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, patients, mail and email

• Under the direction of the Chairman of Anesthesia, the position supports the Anesthesia Officer of the Day with the daily staffing assignments, management of the daily schedule for Somerset

• Maintains files, records, calendars, coordinates meeting arrangements and maintains meeting minutes and OR quality metrics
