Description

The Supply Chain Planner will own the day-to-day production planning at our primary manufacturing

facility. This critical role will require a an experienced, dynamic, and passionate individual with both

analytical capability, technical knowledge, and strong inter-personal abilities. The Supply Chain

Planner will work with demand planning, supply planning, production, logistics, warehousing and

Supply Chain Leadership to ensure the company hits its production goals on time, in full, and within

budget. Day to day activities include scheduling and ensure the materials, machines and workspaces

are ready to go to increase production and adapting to meet customer needs.

  • Prepare the Production Schedule in compliance with the target inventory levels while ensuring

  • priorities are aligned, communicated, and correlated with order fulfillment.

  • Communicate to Purchasing any shortages of materials and help mitigate problems

  • Measure Shift schedule attainment, document Root Cause and facilitate Corrective Actions

  • Monitor & maintain inventory levels at all locations

  • Prepare Slow Moving Inventory Reports and review with cross functional team to assign res Main possibility before the product ages out. Publish, update, and follow up.

  • Monitor Bulk Levels, notify of delays, analyze and communicate consequences. Assist in creating yearly forecasts and historical analysis for

  • Vendors & Co- Packers

  • Prepare Mid and long- term Capacity Planning in conjunction with the demand planning team.

  • Work as a liaison between corporate and production facilities. communicate down times- material issues and any bottlenecks.

  • Provide a three-month bulk forecast for .purchasing

  • Track Pallets on hand and pallet locations available.

  • Maintain Planning Calendars and other relevant data in SAP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain environment.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Understanding of inventory strategies LIFO, FIFO, etc.

  • Computer skills (MS Office)

  • Experience with MRP systems

  • Proficient in multi-tasking, organized, high capacity for change and the ability to manage change.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to speak up appropriately

  • and to raise issues to teams and senior management.

  • Demonstrates excellent follow-up.

  • Self-motivated

  • Approachable, authentic, and genuine.
