The Internal Logistics Supervisor at our fragrance plant will oversee and coordinate all transportation activities related to the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other products both within and outside the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that transportation operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills to facilitate seamless logistics operations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the transport team, plan transportation activities, and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure timely deliveries.

  • Lead, train, and motivate transport staff, conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to enhance team effectiveness.

  • Develop processes to optimize transportation efficiency, monitor key performance indicators, and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular audits and training to foster a safety culture.

  • Oversee handling and storage of materials to maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate with inventory teams for replenishment.

  • Address operational disruptions, serve as a point of contact for inquiries, and maintain accurate documentation while preparing reports on transport operations.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCM, APICS) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain roles, with at least 2-5 years in a supervisory or leadership position.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and SAP.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the transportation industry.
