TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician - Somerset, KY in Somerset, Kentucky

Description

TEKsystems, in support the Commonwealth Office of Technology Southern Field Services Division, is looking for a knowledgeable Desktop Support Technician with a high aptitude for customer service in the Somerset area (and surrounding counties). Our technicians interface with the agency users remotely and in person, so customer service skills are as essential as technical skills. Qualified candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and lift and carry heavy objects or potentially work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. Candidates must also be experienced with desktop support, including but not limited to installation, troubleshooting, and repair in a windows-based environment. The candidate also needs to possess basic network troubleshooting skills.

This is long term position with a solid benefits package and significant opportunity for skills development and career advancement. There will be some travel, but a Commonwealth of KY vehicle will be available for use. If not, mileage will be paid.

Customer service is huge, excellent communication, team player, and someone that is focused on developing strong relationships with the end users.

Will need strong desktop support because this is a backfill for a Tech who left recently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
